About this product
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Toronto Blue Jays Men’s Hoodie – Vladdy Baseball Poster Badge Merchandise Celebrate the power, personality and Toronto story of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. with this men’s hoodie from Players Couture. Designed for Blue Jays supporters and baseball fanatics who want something different from conventional sports clothing, the hoodie provides a stylish way to represent one of the most important players in the club’s modern era. A colourful poster-inspired graphic of Guerrero is positioned on the left chest as a compact badge measuring approximately 10 cm in height. The smaller placement gives the garment a contemporary streetwear appearance while keeping the baseball connection clear. It is expressive enough for a watch party or trip to the ballpark but understated enough to become part of a regular casual wardrobe. The hoodie is available in White, Black, Red, Navy and Grey, with adult sizes ranging from S to 3XL. Navy complements Toronto’s baseball identity, while red creates a strong connection with Guerrero’s Canadian birthplace and the country represented by the Blue Jays. Grey offers a traditional sportswear look, black is versatile and easy to style, and white creates a clean background for the colourful poster badge. A Canadian-Born Baseball Star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was born in Montreal in March 1999 while his father, Vladimir Guerrero Sr., was playing for the Montreal Expos. The younger Guerrero holds Canadian and Dominican connections, giving him a particularly fitting place at the heart of the Toronto Blue Jays. He spent much of his childhood in the Dominican Republic, surrounded by a family with deep baseball experience. His father became a Hall of Fame outfielder known for his exceptional arm, powerful swing and ability to hit pitches far outside the strike zone. His uncle Wilton Guerrero, another former Major League player, helped teach Vladdy the routines and techniques required to develop his own game. Toronto signed Guerrero as an international free agent in 2015. From the beginning, he was regarded as one of baseball’s most exciting young prospects. His progress through the minor leagues brought increasing attention, particularly during 2018, when he batted .381 with 20 home runs and 78 runs batted in across 95 appearances. Guerrero’s combination of bat speed, strength and control made his promotion one of the most anticipated Blue Jays debuts in years. He reached the Major Leagues in April 2019 and recorded his first hit against the Oakland Athletics. The moment marked the beginning of a Toronto career that would eventually include All-Star appearances, major awards and a historic run to the World Series. Early Power and the 2021 Breakthrough During his rookie season, Guerrero reached the final of the Home Run Derby and hit an extraordinary 91 home runs across the event. Although he finished as runner-up, his display demonstrated the effortless power that would become central to his identity as a Major League hitter. After using the shortened 2020 campaign to continue his development and transition towards first base, Guerrero arrived for the 2021 season in improved physical condition. The resulting performance established him among the leading players in baseball clothing and merchandise. Guerrero batted .311 with 48 home runs, 111 runs batted in and 123 runs scored. His 48 home runs tied for the Major League lead, while he led all players in runs and total bases. At 22 years old, he became the youngest Blue Jays player to produce one of the great offensive seasons in franchise history. His first All-Star Game appearance produced another memorable moment. Guerrero launched a powerful home run and was named the contest’s Most Valuable Player, becoming the youngest recipient of the award. He finished second in the American League MVP vote and received the Hank Aaron Award, a Silver Slugger Award and selection to the All-MLB First Team. Becoming a Complete First Baseman Guerrero followed his breakthrough by hitting 32 home runs and driving in 97 runs during 2022. His work at first base also earned him a Gold Glove Award. The honour demonstrated how far his defensive game had progressed since moving away from third base and established him as a more complete player. In 2023, Guerrero entered the Home Run Derby again and won the competition. His victory carried additional significance because Vladimir Guerrero Sr. had won the event in 2007. They became the first father and son to capture Home Run Derby titles, creating another memorable connection between two generations of the family. The 2024 campaign brought one of Guerrero’s strongest and most consistent seasons. He recorded a .323 batting average, 199 hits, 30 home runs and 103 runs batted in. His performances earned him another Silver Slugger Award and a second selection to the All-MLB First Team. Guerrero’s personality has been another important part of his appeal to fans. His celebrations, enthusiasm and visible enjoymen
