Sealey AK2972 Heavy Duty Butane Indexing Soldering Torch

About this product

The Sealey AK2972 is a heavy-duty butane soldering torch designed for professional tradespeople requiring reliable, hands-free heating capabilities. This versatile tool combines piezoelectric ignition with an anti-flare burner system, delivering consistent performance across a wide range of soldering and heating applications. The three-position indexing head allows precise flame positioning for different working angles, whilst the integrated magnetic stand enables stable hands-free operation when working on detailed jobs. The adjustable flame reaches temperatures up to 1300°C, making it suitable for soft soldering, heat shrinking, paint removal, and general workshop heating tasks. With a 35ml fuel capacity, the torch provides 45-60 minutes of continuous runtime per fill. Safety features include a piezoelectric ignition system eliminating the need for matches or lighters, plus a safety lock and continuous flame switch for controlled operation. The compact 210mm height and lightweight 0.28kg design make it easy to manoeuvre in confined spaces whilst maintaining professional control.
