Moza Racing R16 Ultra Direct Drive Wheel Base Racing wheel base

About this product

All-new Zero-cogging Flat-wire Motor. MOZA's next-generation custom flat-wire motor offers 12% higher torque density than similarly sized competitors. With true zero cogging, it ensures ultra-smooth rotation and faithfully recreates the smooth mechanical torque transitions of a real steering system.. 16 N·m Constant Torque. With greater motor headroom, the R16 Ultra delivers 16 N·m of constant torque for consistent and reliable force feedback performance.. 21-bit Magnetic Encoder with 600MHz High-Performance Processor. Featuring a high-resolution 21-bit magnetic encoder with 2.09 million points of resolution, the R16 Ultra delivers exceptional precision, finer force feedback detail, and a more realistic driving experience.. Refined Design with RGB Customization. Designed with a compact, motorsport-inspired profile, the R16 Ultra looks as serious as it performs. Dual RGB light strips along the top edges offer 16.7 million colors and fully customizable lighting effects, including real-time telemetry feedback for ABS, traction control, gear shifts, and flag signals.. Nexgen Force Feedback Algorithm U1 Support. Powered by MOZA's NexGen Force Feedback Algorithm U1, the R16 Ultra combines powerful hardware and advanced software to deliver more realistic force feedback and finer tuning control.. Force Feedback Interpolation. When force feedback interpolation is disabled, force feedback signals are delivered in discrete steps, which can result in abrupt transitions and reduced fidelity. When enabled, intelligent interpolation seamlessly blends adjacent force feedback signals, creating smoother torque delivery while faithfully reproducing fine road textures, curb vibrations, and other high-frequency details for a more natural steering feel.. Intelligent Thermal Management. The R16 Ultra features MOZA's fully upgraded intelligent cooling system providing ample motor headroom and optimized thermal efficiency, it runs cooler—even under sustained high torque. Real-time temperature monitoring and smart torque regulation work together to maintain peak performance through the most demanding racing sessions.. Versatile Mounting Options. Supports bottom, front, and side mounting to accommodate a wide range of rigs.. CNC-machined Aluminum Housing. Constructed from a rigid die-cast aluminum alloy body, the R16 Ultra offers exceptional structural integrity and torsional rigidity—essential for withstanding high-torque output—while keeping overall weight to a minimum.. Extreme Durability. Built for endurance and performance, MOZA's slip ring handles over 10 million rotations and transfers data at 2M/s, delivering solid connection and lag-free communication between the wheel and base.. Native Ecosystem Integration. Featuring dedicated ports for all major MOZA peripherals, the R16 Ultra keeps your setup clean and hassle-free—simply plug in pedals, shifters, dashboards, handbrake and and emergency stop switches without the need for extra USB hubs or cables.. Hands-off Protection. This function can effectively avoid the risk of injury and quickly help restore control by detecting that hands are off the wheel. Once activated, it will quickly stop any oscillation and safely center the wheel.. Features. Product type. Racing wheel base. Product colour. Black. Material. Aluminium alloy. Peak torque. 16 N⋅m.
