Faithfull Extension Trailing Lead 13amp Blue Cable 240v 240v

About this product

The Faithfull Extension Trailing Lead is a heavy-duty 14-metre power extension designed for demanding trade and site applications. Built to withstand the rigours of professional use, this trailing lead features robust 1.5mm cable capable of delivering 13 amps at 240V, making it suitable for power tools, transformers, and other equipment requiring extended reach from a mains supply. The extension lead is fitted with a heavy-duty rubber case that provides exceptional protection against impacts from drops and abrasion from being dragged across job sites. This durable construction ensures reliable performance in challenging working environments where standard domestic extensions would fail. The lead features a standard 13-amp plug and 3-pin socket for compatibility with UK electrical equipment. Understanding the load capacity is essential for safe operation: when fully unwound, this trailing lead can handle up to 3kW (13 amps), but when stored fully wound, the capacity reduces to 1kW (4 amps) to prevent heat build-up. This makes it ideal for extending work areas on construction sites, workshops, and outdoor projects where access to mains power is limited.
