Draper Purple Polycarbide Strip Disc 115mm

About this product

The Draper Purple Polycarbide Strip Disc is a professional-grade cleaning disc designed for efficient paint removal, rust cleaning and surface preparation tasks. Engineered for compatibility with 115mm angle grinders, this 180-grit disc delivers faster stock removal whilst minimising damage to the underlying workpiece. Manufactured from purple silicon carbide, this strip disc offers superior strength and rigidity compared to conventional abrasive materials. This enhanced durability makes it particularly well-suited for demanding applications where tougher jobs require more aggressive material removal, whilst the specialised construction helps preserve the integrity of the base surface during cleaning operations. Ideal for general cleaning applications, the disc excels at removing rust, paint and surface contaminants across a range of metal surfaces. The 22.23mm bore provides secure fitment to standard angle grinder spindles, whilst the maximum operating speed of 9970rpm and 60m/s peripheral speed ensure efficient performance across typical grinding tasks.
