Bathrooms From Travis Perkins R1162B Gravity Self Closing Grille Brown 100mm

About this product

Eliminate cold drafts and optimize your home's thermal efficiency with the Bathrooms From TP R1162B Gravity Self-Closing Grille. Specifically engineered as an intelligent external termination piece for standard 100 mm (4-inch) inline ducting and bathroom extractor fans, this dynamic brown vent cover features a multi-flap gravity system. The shutters open smoothly under fan pressure to discharge humid air, then snap tightly shut the moment the fan stops. Outfitted with three independent, lightweight, hinged horizontal flaps. Eliminates cold air backdraughts completely. The flaps lift freely under minimum pressure from the extractor fan to vent moist air, but fall shut automatically when the fan turns off, preventing cold wind from chilling the property. Creates a closed, physical seal across the 4" pipeline when not in active use. Helps reduce household heat loss and prevents chilly crosswinds from howling through your ventilation channels—lowering energy bills and making bathrooms feel significantly warmer during winter months. Fully closing interlocking slatted shutters that sit completely flush when resting. Serves as a mechanical barrier that keeps driving rain, wind-driven debris, mice, and large insects from creeping into the external open duct track and nesting inside the building.
